Megan TeBoekhorst – Quality Practice Leader
Megan has a wealth of experience in the disability support sector, and is excited to now be working with ConneXu to help people enjoy better lives. Over the years she has worked with various support services organisations, such as Healthcare New Zealand, Florence Nightingale Agency, within a Bupa Rest Home and at Stroke Foundation New Zealand, as well as a music and movement organisation for young children and dementia patients.
To back up this depth of experience, Megan has a raft of qualifications, including training in Rehabilitation Health Science, Core Competencies Stroke Education, Business Management, Music and Movement Therapy, Dementia and Delirium, Maori Culture, Falls Preventions, Mental Health, Palliative Care and Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
In her spare time, her hobbies and interests are just as diverse, so as well as loving spending time with her son, she enjoys going on bush walks, discovering new places, baking, musical instruments, reading, burlesque dancing and pilates.
